Marc Klee – John Hancock Technology Fund

MARC KLEE is a Co-Portfolio Manager of the John Hancock Technology Fund. He is Executive Vice President of American Fund Advisors, which serves as a sub-advisor to the Fund. Mr. Klee and Co-Manager, Barry Gordon, have been managing the Fund since its inception in 1983. Mr. Klee also manages the technology portion of the John Hancock Growth Trends Fund. Previously, he worked as a securities analyst for Fidelity Management & Research Company and U.S. Trust Co. of New York. Mr. Klee appears regularly on CNBC, CNN AND CNNfn, providing expert commentary on the technology industry. In October 2000 he was named CNN Moneyweek's top stock-picking 'wizard' of the year. Mr. Klee earned an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
