Major Growth in Retail E-Commerce as Consumers Value Convenience

Scott Devitt joined the research team at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc., in connection with the company’s acquisition of Legg Mason’s Capital Markets Group in December 2005, and is the firm’s Internet Consumer Services Research Analyst. He rejoined Legg Mason in 2004. Prior to returning, he was a Portfolio Manager for a private shopping center developer. He first joined Legg Mason in 2000 as an Associate Analyst. Prior to joining Legg Mason in 2000, he was a Senior Analyst at Dell Inc., and spent three years as a Special Pricing Analyst and Manufacturing Finance Analyst. Before joining Dell Inc., Mr. Devitt worked at Ernst & Young as an Associate in the firm’s capital markets group, and served as an Analyst in the firm’s municipal bond department.
