Louis Meshon Jr. – Kramont Realty Trust (krt)

LOUIS P. MESHON, SR., is President and Chief Executive Officer of Kramont Realty Trust. He commenced his real estate career with Hallmark Cards as Regional Real Estate Director for the Mid-Atlantic region from 1966 to 1968, where he was responsible for site selection and lease negotiations for new stores. Mr. Meshon switched to the other side of the negotiating table when he became a leasing representative at Kravco in 1969. Mr. Meshon founded Montgomery Development Company in 1974. On December 31, 1997, Mr. Meshon sourced and completed a merger with CV Reit, Inc., and formed an UPREIT (an umbrella partnership) with 10 properties and 650,000 square feet of GLA. At that time, Mr. Meshon was elected to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of CV Reit, Inc. On December 10, 1999, the Board of Directors of CV Reit, Inc., and Kranzco Realty Trust unanimously approved and signed a Merger and Reorganization Agreement. The new company was formed under the name Kramont Realty Trust. At that time, Mr. Meshon was elected to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Kramont Realty Trust. The closing date for this transaction was June 16, 2000. A graduate of LaSalle University, he has lectured MBA classes at the University of Pennsylvania on Real Estate Investment Trusts, Mergers and Acquisitions, and has conducted various seminars for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), where he is an active member.
