Peter Dixon is a Sector Leader and Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Management & Research Company — FMR Co. — the investment adviser for Fidelity’s family of mutual funds. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries. In this role, Mr. Dixon is Sector Leader of the Global Consumer team and is responsible for covering global retail stocks. Additionally, he serves as Portfolio Manager for Fidelity Select Consumer Discretionary Portfolio; Fidelity Advisor Consumer Discretionary Fund; Fidelity VIP Consumer Discretionary, the consumer discretionary sector of VIP Contrafund; VIP Balanced Portfolio; Fidelity and Fidelity Advisor Balanced Fund; and Fidelity Series All-Sector Fund. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Mr. Dixon managed Fidelity Consumer Discretionary Central Fund, Fidelity Select Retailing Portfolio and Fidelity Select Leisure Portfolio. Before joining Fidelity in 2006, Mr. Dixon served as an equity analyst at Wooster Capital Management. Previously, Mr. Dixon was a professional health care representative at Pfizer, Inc., a director of market research and analysis at Matrix Datagroup, and a business analyst covering media and communications at American Management Systems. He has been in the investments industry since 2005. Mr. Dixon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in biology and music from Brown University and his Master of Business Administration degree in accounting and analytical finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
