Long-term Investing In Internet Companies – Ryan Jacob – Jacob Asset Management

Ryan Jacob is the Chairman and CIO of Jacob Asset Management, and he is the Chief Portfolio Manager of the Jacob Internet Fund and the Jacob Small Cap Growth Fund. From December 1997 to June 1999, Mr. Jacob was the Portfolio Manager of the $650 million Internet Fund. Previously, Mr. Jacob was the Director of Research for "The IPO Value Monitor," which provided fundamental research to institutional investors on new equity offerings. Mr. Jacob was also a Partner at Horizon Asset Management, Inc., a New York-based investment advisory firm. Prior to joining Horizon, Mr. Jacob held positions at Bankers Trust Company, Mellon Financial Corporation and Shearson Lehman Brothers in their investment advisory groups.
