Lloyd Spencer – Coroware, Inc. (croe)

LLOYD SPENCER, President and Chief Executive Officer of CoroWare, Inc., has more than 22 years' experience in the computer and networking industries in engineering, product marketing, business development and sales management. His expertise ranges across a spectrum of service provider industries and technologies, including distributed network computing and embedded systems hardware development. Previously, Mr. Spencer was Solutions Unit Manager at Microsoft. His focus was on developing and marketing solutions in concert with independent software vendors and systems integrators. He and his team helped guide the telecommunications industry toward the use of open, interoperable standards such as XML Web Services. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Spencer was Assistant Vice President and Business Sector Manager at Newbridge Networks in Ottawa, Ontario, where he directed the development of innovative embedded systems solutions for telecommunications. Before joining Newbridge, he was Product Line Manager at Sun Microsystems Inc. in Mountain View, California, and a data communications software engineer at Hewlett-Packard Co. in Cupertino, California. Mr. Spencer is an active contributor to the robotics community in Seattle area through his participation in the Seattle Robotics Society, and having initiated 4H Robotics Club programs through Washington State Cooperative Extension and the National 4H in Washington, DC.
