RENEE BUDIG is Vice President of Investor Relations of VERITAS
Software Corporation. Prior to joining VERITAS in April 2002, Ms.
Budig was Vice President of Finance at Quantum Corporation. There
she directed the Investor Relations program in addition to
worldwide treasury management responsibilities. Prior to Quantum,
she was a partner/consultant with Horn Murdock Cole (formerly
Murdock & Associates, Inc.) a financial consulting firm in Santa
Clara, California, and with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Budig is

KRIS HAGERMAN is Senior Vice President, Strategic Operations of
VERITAS Software Corporation. Mr. Hagerman is responsible for all
strategic alliances, business development, mergers and
acquisitions, and venture investments at VERITAS Software.
Previously, he was Vice President of Strategic Alliances, where
he led VERITAS' strategy and business development efforts for key
partners including Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, Oracle, EMC,
Compaq, Intel, Dell and Brocade. Before joining VERITAS, Mr.
Hagerman served as Founder and Chief Executive Officer at
Affinia. Prior to that, he was the Founder and Chief Executive
Officer of BigBook, Inc., In addition, he has held various
management positions in consulting, sales and marketing, business
development, and finance at companies such as Silicon Graphics
Computer Systems, Odyssey Research, McKinsey & Company, and
Morgan Stanley. Mr. Hagerman holds an MBA from Stanford
University. He also earned a Master's degree in International
Relations from Cambridge University and a Bachelor's degree in
Russian and Economics from Dartmouth College. Profile
