KATSUMI ONEDA is President and CEO of Vision-Sciences, Inc. and its
division, Machida, Inc. Mr. Oneda co-founded Vision-Sciences, Inc. with
Lewis C. Pell in 1990 and took the company public in November 1992. He
has co-founded a number of other medical device companies, including
Pentax Precision Instrument Corporation, Ashai Optical Co., Ltd.,
American Endoscopy, Inc., Versaflex, Inc., Heart Technology, Inc.,
InStent, Inc., Biosense, Inc., Influence, Inc., and Impulse Dynamics,
LLC. Mr. Oneda is currently a Director of The Japanese-American
Association of NY, Inc. as well as a Director of the New York Law
