JOSEPH L. MULLEN is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bottomline
Technologies, Inc. Mr. Mullen's broad experience in management and
operations has helped Bottomline to consistently gain marketshare. Prior
to joining the company, he worked for 13 years at IBM and held a variety
of sales and management positions, including Marketing Manager and
Northeast Area Market Planning Manager. Throughout his career in the
technology industry, Mr. Mullen has come to recognize that care for the
customer is the key to business success. He leads the Bottomline team
with this belief and a commitment to building solutions that customers
want, to delivering and supporting those solutions as sold, and to
