John Zimmerman – Banc Of America Capital Management

JOHN W. ZIMMERMAN is Director of Growth Strategies and Active Equity at Banc of America Capital Management, Inc. He is responsible for all large and mid-cap growth products, including mutual funds, institutional separate accounts, common trust funds and model portfolios. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zimmerman worked for Conning Asset Management as Senior Vice President of Equity Investments. Previously, he worked for a Banc of America Capital Management, Inc., predecessor organization as co-Manager of fundamental research. He has been a member of the investment community since 1987. Mr. Zimmerman earned an MBA from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Missouri. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Zimmerman is a past President of the St. Louis Society of Financial Analysts and a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) Corporate Information Committee and the Bank and Financial Analysts Association of New York.
