John Snyder – Sovereign Asset Management Corporation

JOHN SNYDER is Executive Vice President for Sovereign Asset Management Corp. He manages several billion in retail and institutional assets for John Hancock Funds, and is a co-portfolio manager of the Hancock Sovereign Investors Fund and Hancock Balanced Fund. Mr. Snyder joined Hancock in 1991 when it acquired the Sovereign Investors Fund. He has managed the fund since 1984. Sovereign Asset Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hancock Funds. Before joining the firm, Mr. Snyder was a partner, senior vice president and money manager for Hopper Soliday & Co., Inc. He has been in the investment business since 1971.
