John Long – First Advantage Corporation (fadv)

JOHN LONG is the Chief Executive Officer, President and a Director of First Advantage Corporation. Prior to First Advantage's formation, Mr. Long served as President of the First American Screening Technologies division of The First American Corporation. During this same time period, he was also President and Chief Executive Officer of HireCheck, Inc., where he engineered the acquisitions of Substance Abuse Management, Inc., Employee Health Programs, American Driving Records and SafeRent. Mr. Long first joined The First American Corporation as Senior Vice President of Sales in 1990, after the acquisition of Metropolitan Realty Tax Service, a company which Mr. Long founded in 1986 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Long was instrumental in establishing and building First American Real Estate Information Services, Inc., serving as President and Chief Executive Officer and overseeing the company's strategic and acquisition direction. During this tenure, he was responsible for more than 40 acquisitions over a 10- year period, growing revenue from approximately $7 million to over $700 million. Mr. Long also serves on the Board of Directors of First American Title Insurance Company. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of New Rochelle and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University in New York. Profile
