KEVIN R. BEGLEY has served as Chief Financial Officer of Village Super
Market, Inc., since 1987. Prior to 1987, he was a Senior Manager at KPMG
LLP. Mr. Begley was licensed as a Certified Public Account in 1980. He
received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Peter's
College in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1980. Profile
JAMES SUMAS has served as Chairman of the Board of Village Super Market, Inc.,
since 1989. He was named Chief Executive Officer in 2002. He also serves as the
company's Chief Operating Officer. He has served as a Director and officer of
the company since its incorporation in 1955. Mr. Sumas is Vice Chairman of
Wakefern Food Corporation and is a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Sumas
