Spencer Hackett is a global Research Analyst on the consumer industry team at Grandeur Peak Global Advisors, LLC. He is part of the Global Micro Cap team and plays a lead role in covering Japan. He is spending five months of 2016 living in Japan. Mr. Hackett joined Grandeur Peak Global Advisors in 2012. Mr. Hackett graduated from the University of Utah where he earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies with a business emphasis and a minor in Japanese. He lived in Japan from 2008 to 2010 and speaks Japanese fluently. Mr. Hackett was a two-year state-championship volleyball player, a state-championship football player and an all-state rugby player.
