Interview with the President and CEO: Trex Company, Inc. (NYSE:TREX)

Cline, James E.
James E. Cline has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Trex Company, Inc., since August 17, 2015. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Trex from March 18, 2008, to August 17, 2015, and its Senior Vice President from August 2013 to August 17, 2015. Mr. Cline served as President of Harsco GasServ, a subsidiary of Harsco Corporation, from July 2005 to December 2007. From April 1994 to June 2005, he served as Vice President and Controller of Harsco GasServ, with responsibility for worldwide finance and information technology. His focus was accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting and cost control. From January 2008 to February 2008, in connection with the purchase of Harsco GasServ by Taylor-Wharton International LLC, which is owned by Windpoint Partners Company, Mr. Cline served as a consultant to the buyers by providing transition management and financial services. He served as Vice President of Trex Co. Inc. since March 18, 2008. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cline served in various capacities with Huffy Corporation from June 1976 to February 1994, including as the Director of Finance of its True Temper Hardware subsidiary, a manufacturer of lawn care and construction products with nine manufacturing locations in the United States, Canada and Ireland. He has been a director of Trex Co. Inc. since August 2015. Mr. Cline received a BSBA degree in accounting from Bowling Green State University and training from Harsco Management Institute, Cooper Management Institute, Zenger Miller and University of Wisconsin.
