Richard A. Smith is President and Chief Executive Officer of FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated. He joined FelCor in November 2004, spending a year as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Before FelCor, he was with Wyndham International as Executive Vice President and CFO. Mr. Smith joined Wyndham in 1999 as Senior Vice President and Treasurer. He also previously worked with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., when the company grew from 25 hotels and a $125 million market cap, to 700 hotels and a $20 billion market cap. Mr. Smith also worked at Atlantic Richfield Company and Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Smith is a Certified Public Accountant.
