Zamani, Payam
Payam Zamani has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Inspirato Incorporated since August 2024. Mr. Zamani is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of One Planet Group, a private equity firm focused on operating technology, media, and hospitality companies, as well as an early-stage investor and startup business incubator, established in 2015. In 1994, Mr. Zamani co-founded Autoweb.com. In 2001, he launched Reply.com, later rebranded as Buyerlink in 2015 and now owned by One Planet Group. Mr. Zamani is also a USA TODAY bestselling author of “Crossing the Desert: The Power of Embracing Life’s Difficult Journeys,” where he reflects on his journey as a Baha’i who was forced to flee Iran at the age of 16 due to religious persecution. He has been recognized as a Best CEO for Diversity by Comparably in 2020, received the University of California, Davis Award of Distinction in 2018, and was honored with the Tahirih Justice Center’s Hope Award in 2016.
