Industrial Manufacturing: Wendy Caplan – Wachovia Securities

WENDY CAPLAN is a Managing Director and senior equity analyst at Wachovia Securities in the Diversified Industrial Sector. Prior to joining Wachovia in May 2002, Ms. Caplan worked for ABN AMRO Securities, Inc., as a Managing Director and senior equity analyst in the Industrial Manufacturing and Technologies Group. She joined the firm (then Furman Selz, later ING Barings, where she was named Global Sector Head) in 1997 after eight years at Schroder Wertheim, where she was a senior analyst on the 'In Rust We Trust' team. In 2001, Ms. Caplan was named 'Best on the Street' in her sector in the annual Wall Street Journal poll. Prior to Wall Street, Ms. Caplan worked as a therapist in inpatient psychiatry and as a storyteller. She received a BS from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Pace University. Profile
