Improving Outlook for Residential, Nonresidential and Public Works Construction

Jack Kasprzak is a Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst at BB&T Capital Markets, and has followed the building materials sector since he joined the firm in 1997. In its 2012 “World’s Top Analysts” survey, Financial Times/StarMine named him number one for stock picking and number three for his earnings estimates in building products, and number two for his earnings estimates in construction materials. Mr. Kasprzak, who was also cited by Financial Times/StarMine in previous surveys, has been named in the 2006, 2005 and 2000 “Best on the Street” analyst survey, including number one in estimate accuracy, by The Wall Street Journal as well as the inaugural Street.com All-Star Analyst Survey. He has also been included in the Reuters survey of mid to smaller company investment research on three separate occasions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kasprzak was a Research Analyst for four years at Davenport & Company, LLC. TWST: Can you start by telling us a little bit about your construction coverage?

Mr. Kasprzak: I cover companies involved in building materials and building products. They are exposed
