Howard Nelson Jr. – Colonial Properties Trust (clp)

HOWARD B. NELSON JR. is Chief Financial Officer of Colonial Properties Trust, with general responsibility for financing matters since May 1997. Mr. Nelson was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company, from September 1993 to May 1997. He joined Colonial Properties in 1984 as Vice President and became Senior Vice President, Finance in 1987. He has served as Treasurer, Vice President, President and Board Member of the Birmingham Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and office Parks and on the Board of Directors of the Children's Harbor Family Center. He also serves on the Birmingham ' Southern Norton Board of Advisors, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Comprehensive Cancer Center Supporters Board and the College of Birmingham Advisory Council of Auburn University.
