HENRY A. KAPLAN, is President of NewKidCo International Inc. Prior to
founding NewKidCo, Mr. Kaplan served as President and Chief Operating
Officer of Philips Media Software/North America, a post he assumed in
September 1995. Prior to his appointment at Philips Media, Mr. Kaplan
was Founder and Chairman of New York City-based Hi Tech Entertainment
(formerly Hi Tech Expressions), an interactive multimedia entertainment
company, where he was heavily involved in product development, marketing
and licensing. Prior to starting Hi Tech, he was Executive Vice
President of CBS Software. He was responsible for product development,
marketing and sales of CBS' home computer software business. His nine
years at CBS included assignments as Vice President, Corporate Planning
and Development (CBS, Inc.), Vice President (CBS Publishing Group), Vice
President Marketing and Sales (CBS Toy Division). Earlier, Mr. Kaplan
was Senior Vice President of Yankelovich, Skelly and White and was
responsible for its custom research division. He received a BA from
Hunter College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Profile
