Gregg Watkins – Schwartz Investment Counsel

GREGG D. WATKINS is Portfolio Manager of the new Ave Maria Catholic Values Fund and Senior Vice President of Schwartz Investment Counsel, Inc. He is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies suited to clients' individual investment objectives. In his 25 years in the investment management profession, Mr. Watkins has served as Vice President and Investment Counselor at Loomis, Sayles & Co., Director of Institutional Portfolio Management at Comercia Capital Management and Portfolio Manager of the NBD Opportunity Fund at National Bank of Detroit. Mr. Watkins earned a BA degree in History from Yale University and an MBA in Finance from Wayne State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the Investment Analysts Society of Detroit and the Association for Investment Management and Research. Mr. Watkins serves on the Board of Directors of the Children's Home of Detroit, The Providence Health Foundation and the Deroy Testamentary Foundation. Profile
