Greater Origination Growth for BDCs Focused on Senior Debt

Mike Turner is a Senior Vice President and Research Analyst for commercial finance at Compass Point Research & Trading, LLC. At Compass Point, he supervises the analysis of microeconomic and industry trends to discover attractive investment opportunities in the commercial and consumer finance sectors. Before joining Compass Point, Mr. Turner was a Senior Investment Analyst at Hovde Capital Advisors LLC in Washington, D.C., where he focused on specialty finance, banks and consumer discretionary companies. Before his work at Hovde Capital Advisors, he was a Senior Investment Analyst at Barrier Investments specializing in debt and equity investments in the financial services sector. Mr. Turner also spent four years as a Research Analyst at FBR Capital Markets Corporation in the financial institutions group covering specialty finance.
