GORDON CLEMONS helped found CorVel Corporation in 1988 and became
Chairman in 1991 when the company went public. CorVel is a leading
provider of managed care services with 150 offices in 49 states. The
company provides managed care services in the workers' compensation,
auto and group health markets. Previously, Mr. Clemons was President of
Caremark, the largest home IV therapy company in the United States, from
1985 through 1987, at which time Baxter International purchased the
company. Caremark expanded from a 17 branch home IV provider to a 50
plus-branch provider of home IV, factor 8 and growth hormone service and
distribution business. From 1981 through 1985 Mr. Clemons was President
of Intracorp, a managed care services subsidiary of CIGNA Corporation.
Intracorp grew from $33 million to over $100 million during his tenure,
expanding its office network to over 100 branches. Prior to joining
CIGNA, Mr. Clemons was COO at Advanta, a direct marketer of financial
services to teachers' and nurses' associations. From 1969 through 1978
he was employed by FMC Corporation, concluding his career as manager of
the Food and Pharmaceutical Products division. Mr. Clemons has over 25
years' experience in health care and insurance. Mr. Clemons is married
and has two children. He has an MBA from the University of Oregon and a

Mr. Clemons: CorVel was founded in 1988 and went public in 1991.
