Gerald G. Nadig – Material Sciences Corporation

GERALD G. NADIG was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of Material Sciences Corporation in 1997 and was named Chairman of the Board in 1998. Prior to this he served in several key management positions with Material Sciences since joining the company in 1989 as Executive Vice President of Pre Finish Metals, a subsidiary of Material Sciences. In 1990 he was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Pre Finish Metals and appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Material Sciences in 1991. In 1997 he was named President and Chief Executive Officer. In 1998 he became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Material Sciences Corporation. Prior to joining Material Sciences, Mr. Nadig served as Vice President and General Manager of Allied Products Corporation's Littell Division. He started his business career with Rockwell International. Mr. Nadig holds a Master's Degree in Business from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Harvard University where he graduated cum laude. Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of Tokheim Corporation, a member of the Chicago Board of the National Association of Corporate Directors, a member of the Advisory Board of Northwestern University's MMM Program, a member of the National Coil Coaters Association, and a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
