Timothy Winter, a Chartered Financial Analyst, joined Gabelli & Company, Inc., in April 2009. He has over 17 years of experience as an Equity Research Analyst covering the utility industry, including the time he spent at AG Edwards from 1992 to 2007, during which he received industry recognition as a three-time Wall Street Journal all-star. Mr. Winter was also a senior member of the Institutional Investor number-one ranked electric utility team for each year from 2001 to 2005. In 2007 Mr. Winter co-founded SM Research, an institutional research platform, and also served as a Utility Equity Analyst at Jessup & Lamont.
