RAYMOND J. DEACON is a Principal and Senior Analyst at First Albany
Corporation, covering the exploration and production sector. He came to
First Albany from Royal Bank of Canada/Dain Rauscher where he was a
Principal and Senior Equity Analyst responsible for the large, mid- and
small cap oil and gas producer group. Prior to that, he served as a
Senior Equity Analyst at Hibernia Bank/SouthCoast Capital LLC; Associate
Equity Analyst at Salomon Brothers; and Industry Analyst at Standard &
Poor's. He began his career at Hornblower Fischer A.G. as a Management
Trainee and Liaison to the Chairman. He received an MBA in Finance from
