DOUGLAS. R. LEBDA is the Founder and CEO of LendingTree, Inc.', where he
is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and for
advising senior executives at member financial institutions on
successful Internet lending. Mr. Lebda founded LendingTree after he
experienced the loan process firsthand and envisioned how the Internet
could revolutionize the lending system for both consumers and lenders.
Prior to launching LendingTree, he worked for Price Waterhouse for four
years, advising Fortune 500 and development-stage companies. Mr. Lebda
received a BA from Bucknell University and attended the Darden School of
