Donald L. Gher – Coldstream Capital Mgmt

DONALD L. GHER is a Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer and co- Founder of Coldstream Capital Management, Inc. Mr. Gher began his investment career in 1974 after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Eastern Illinois University (EIU). Since that time, he has been head of a multibillion dollar trust/investment department for the Marine Bank of Springfield, Illinois, an Analyst/Portfolio Manager for the Public Employees' Retirement Fund of Colorado, and a shareholder in the San Francisco money management firm of Kingsley Jennison McNulty & Morse. During 1987-1988, Mr. Gher set up and managed the Tokyo, Japan, office of Schroder Wertheim & Co., an international investment-banking firm, under the auspices of Schroder Securities (Japan) Ltd. From 1988-1996, he was at various affiliates of Bank of America in Seattle and responsible for the management of the Core Growth Equity Fund, as well as the duties of Health Care Analyst for the Bank of America system. In 1981, Mr. Gher was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the Seattle Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute. In 2001, Mr. Gher was one of only 81 worldwide CFA charter holders to be awarded the first AIMR 'Fifteen Year Certificate of Achievement' for Continuing Education. Mr. Gher is a member of the EIU Alumni Board, the EIU Foundation and was named the 2003 EIU Lumpkin School of Business Distinguished Alumnus.
