DENNIS K. WILLIAMS is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
IDEX Corporation. Mr. Williams joined IDEX May 1, 2000. Prior to joining
IDEX, he most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer
of GE Power systems Industrial Products, a global business with $4
billion in sales, based in Florence, Italy. Previous to that assignment,
he was President and CEO of GE's Nuovo Pignone business, one of the
world's leading manufacturers of gas turbines and high-pressure
industrial compressors. He joined GE in 1968 and, except for five years
in the 1970s when he was employed by Varian Associates, had spent his
entire career with GE. Mr. Williams holds a BS degree in Engineering
from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Board of

Mr. Williams: We're comprised of three global groups: Pumps, which
represent 55% of our business; Dispensing Equipment, which is 25%;
