David Thatcher – Cobra Biomanufacturing Plc (cbf.l)

DAVID THATCHER, PhD, is Chief Executive of Cobra Biomanufacturing Plc. Mr. Thatcher was trained as a Protein Chemist at the Universities of Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh. In 1981 he moved to Biogen SA in Geneva where he worked on the isolation of recombinant cytokines. In 1985 he became Director of Process Development of Biogen Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was responsible for the development of large-scale processes for the production of gamma interferon, GM-CSF and several other products.
