David Smeltzer – Philadelphia Suburban Corporation (psc)

DAVID P. SMELTZER was named Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Philadelphia Suburban Corporation in 1999 after serving as Vice President, Rates and Regulatory Affairs for PSC's largest subsidiary, Philadelphia Suburban Water Company since 1991. Prior to then, he spent over four years as PSW's Vice President-Controller. Mr. Smeltzer joined PSW in 1986 after having been employed as Audit Manager by the accounting firm of KPMG LLP. Mr. Smeltzer earned his BS in Business Administration from LaSalle University in 1980 as an Accounting major. In 1982 he became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is a past Chairman of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Water Companies and its Rates and Revenue Committee.
