David Mahoney – Dataware Technologies Inc (dwti)

DAVID MAHONEY is the Chief Executive Officer of iMcKesson, business unit of McKesson HBOC, Inc. He also serves as co-CEO for McKesson HBOC, Inc., and is a member of the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Mahoney brings to his leadership role at iMcKesson an extensive background in the healthcare industry as well as experience in strategy, acquisitions, business-building and information technology-based operations. He joined McKesson in 1990 as Vice President of Strategic Planning where he was responsible for planning and corporate development. He is credited with developing innovative business strategies to grow the PCS Health System subsidiary, resulting in creation of significant shareholder value. Mr. Mahoney played a key role in strategy development, identification and negotiation of acquisitions and ultimately, the sale of PCS to Eli Lilly & Company in 1994. Mr. Mahoney had overall responsibility for McKessonHBOC's strategic relations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including managing the branded pharmaceuticals, generics, and OTC/HBC purchasing and promotional programs for McKesson HBOC Pharmaceutical Supply Management business. The Pharmaceutical Partners Group of McKessonHBOC, which provides product development, sales and marketing support to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, was built under Mr. Mahoney's leadership. In addition, Mr. Mahoney has overseen the development of several McKessonHBOC eHealth initiatives to date. Prior to joining McKessonHBOC, he was a principal with McKinsey &Company's San Francisco office. At present, Mr. Mahoney is a director of Nadro, the largest pharmaceutical distributor in Mexico. He was a director of Cytel Corporation (now Epimmune), a biotechnology company, from 1996-99 and was a director of Armor All Corporation from 1992-96.
