Brian G. Alexander, CFA, is Managing Director and Director of Technology Research at Raymond James & Associates, Inc. He joined the Raymond James technology research team in 2000 after earning his MBA from the University of Chicago, and was named Director of Technology Research in January 2011. His coverage focuses on the IT hardware and distribution sector and the electronic manufacturing services sector, and he has twice been recognized in The Wall Street Journal Best on the Street survey for his work. Mr. Alexander has also been recognized in the StarMine Top Analyst survey and the Forbes Blue Chip Analyst survey. In 2011, Mr. Alexander was named to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team and placed second in the technology supply chain category. He was recognized by Institutional Investor again in 2012 and was named one of the top 10 analysts for accessibility and responsiveness.
