CHARLES S. GEHRING is the Portfolio Manager for the Growth portfolio at
Insight Capital Research & Management, Inc., where he is Co-Manager of
the Aggressive Growth strategy. He has previously served as Portfolio
Manager for the Small Cap, Large Cap and Tax-Advantaged Conservative
Growth portfolios. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Investment
Committee and head of all investment operations. Prior to joining
Insight, Mr. Gehring worked in numerous capacities with HomeFed Bank. He
received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the
University of San Diego and earned the designation of Personal Financial
