Mogil, Ben
Ben Mogil joined the research team at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc., in connection with the company's acquisition of Thomas Weisel Partners LLC in July 2010. He covers broadcasters, publishers, exhibitors and film distributors. He came to Thomas Weisel Partners in January 2008 as part of the Westwind Partners acquisition, after joining that firm in 2003. Mr. Mogil is based in Toronto. As an Analyst, he was Best on the Street in The Wall Street Journal 2011 survey for broadcast and entertainment analysts. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Mogil was in charge of corporate development/M&A for a film distributor and an Internet company, both based in New York. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, with honors with distinction in history and economics, in 1995; and his MBA from the University of Michigan, with distinction, in 2002.
