Bradley Blake – Western Investment Real Estate (wir)

BRADLEY BLAKE is President, Chief Executive Officer and a Trustee of Western Investment Real Estate Trust. Western in a publicly-traded real estate investment trust that owns and operates 66 properties encompassing 5.8 million square feet in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. The company is based in Emeryville, California and has regional offices in the Sacramento area, Fresno and Portland. Western's strategy is to acquire, develop, re-develop and manage neighborhood and community shopping centers in the western states. Mr. Blake was formerly: managing director of Pacific Retail Trust (1996-98); senior vice president of Spieker Properties (1993-96); partner with Spieker Partners (1988-93); and a Project Director with Trammell Crow Company (1985-87). Prior to that he worked for IBM and McKinsey and Company. Mr. Blake holds a B.A. from Stanford University (1980) and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (1985). Mr. Blake is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and Young Presidents Organization. He resides in Alamo, California with his wife and two children. Profile
