ALLAN E. SPURGEON is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and
Director of TriLoch Resources Inc. Mr. Spurgeon is also a co-Founder of
TriLoch and his principal responsibilities are the establishment of
overall corporate structure, strategy and objectives. He graduated from
the University of Manitoba in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Honors Geology. Mr. Spurgeon has over 30 years of oil and gas experience
and in the last 20 years has specialized in building small and startup
public oil and gas companies. Prior to co-founding TriLoch, Mr. Spurgeon
was the President and Chief Executive Officer of PanAtlas Energy Inc.
from October 1993 to July 2000, a Calgary-based oil and gas company
whose shares were listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Spurgeon was
a principal in the re-organization of PanAtlas and was responsible for
the establishment of overall corporate strategy objectives, their
implementation and the daily operations of the company until its sale to
Velvet Exploration Ltd. in July 2000 in a transaction valued at over

Mr. Spurgeon: We are a junior Canadian oil and gas producer. The
