1999 Annual Investment Conference : R. Jay Tejera – Ragen Mackenzie

R. JAY TEJERA, Senior Vice President of Ragen MacKenzie, Inc., and Senior Regional Investment Manager of Wells Fargo Bank, joined Ragen MacKenzie in 1999 as Director of Research and served in that position until February 2003. Following the acquisition of Ragen MacKenzie by Wells Fargo & Co., Mr. Tejera was named the Senior Regional Investment Manager of Wells Fargo, Private Client Services in February 2003. He began his career in investments as an Analyst with Safeco Asset Management, Seattle, Washington. Later he was affiliated with Dain Rauscher, Inc., for 12 years. TWST: May we start with a brief history of Ragen MacKenzie. What is the

focus of the firm's investment research?

Mr. Tejera: Ragen MacKenzie was originally formed in 1982 as a
