Warren P. Levy

WARREN P. LEVY is President and CEO of Unigene Laboratories, Inc. Dr.
Levy received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
from Northwestern University. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Roche
Institute of Molecular Biology where he developed and published novel
protein sequencing techniques and was involved in the first
purification, characterization and cloning of the interferon molecules.
Dr. Levy founded Unigene in 1980 as a contract research laboratory
specializing in protein chemistry, and managed its transition to a
biopharmaceutical company focused on the manufacturing of peptides and
their delivery by oral and nasal routes of administration.
