Thomas W. Itin

THOMAS W. ITIN is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ajay
Sports, Inc., and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pro
Golf of America, Inc. He is also Chairman and President of
Enercorp, Inc., Founder and former Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of Williams Controls, Inc., Founder of Roadmaster
Industries, Inc., and Founder and President of TWI International,
Inc. Mr. Itin is in charge of corporate development and sources
of funding; mergers, acquisitions, divestitures; resort
condominium projects in the USA; housing and labor camp building
construction projects in the Middle East and North Africa. He
funded development and construction of Michigan International
Speedway for Formula 1 and NASCAR auto races. He funded
development and construction of Windsor Raceway in Canada for
harness racing. He was among the founders of Alexander Hamilton
Life Insurance Co. which merged into Jefferson Pilot. He was also
with Mobil International, Inc., in New York, North Africa and the
Middle East. Mr. Itin was appointed to the Cornell University
Council, serving six years on its Advisory Board and as Chairman
of the Technology Transfer Committee. From 1996 to 2000, he was a
member of the Cornell Research Foundation Board. He was awarded a
BS, ILR by Cornell and he continued studies at the Johnson School
prior to earning an MBA in 1959 at New York University’s Stern
Graduate School of Business. While a PhD candidate at New York
University, he accepted a foreign position with Mobil Oil. Mr.
Itin has international business experience in the Middle East,
North Africa, Turkey, Venezuela, Europe, UK, Mexico, China and
the Pacific Rim.
