Thomas J. Webb

THOMAS J. WEBB is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
of CMS Energy Corporation. He was named to this position in August 2002.
Before joining CMS Energy, he had been Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer for Kellogg Company since January 2000. At
Kellogg, he helped drive the purchase of the Keebler Company, the
largest acquisition in Kellogg’s history. He led the financing effort
which included the largest bond offering, $4.6 billion, in the history
of the consumer-branded industry. Mr. Webb was known for bringing a new
emphasis on cash flow, discipline to earnings growth, and restoring
investor confidence. From 1996 to 1999, he was Senior Vice President,
Chief Financial Officer of Visteon. He was selected by senior management
at Ford Motor Company to help create Visteon and take it public. This
$18 billion automotive components business has major production
facilities in 30 countries. Mr. Webb began his career at Ford Motor
Company in 1977, holding increasingly responsible finance and management
positions over 22 years in the United States and in Europe. He was on
the Dean’s List and earned a Master of Business Administration degree in
Finance, and a Bachelor of Science degree, both from George Mason
University in Virginia. He received the National Distinguished Service
Award from the Boy Scouts of America.
