Peter H. Nickerson

PETER H. NICKERSON is President and Chief Executive Officer of N2H2. He
founded N2H2 in 1995 out of his desire to make the Internet safer for
his own children. He oversees the strategic direction of the company,
including new products and industry partnerships. An expert in the
Internet and educational issues, Mr. Nickerson has an extensive record
of community service working with literacy programs for children and
adults, the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, the American Diabetes
Association and many others. He recently left his position as a tenured
business school Professor at Seattle University, where he taught at both
graduate and undergraduate levels in the Department of Economics and
Finance for 12 years. He received his PhD in Economics from the
University of Washington in 1984.
