Michael Likierman

MICHAEL LIKIERMAN is the co-Founder and co-Chairman of the GrandVision
Group. Born in 1940 in Reedley, England, Michael Likierman began his
studies at Stowe School in Buckingham and obtained an MA from Oxford
University. In 1964, he graduated from the University of Geneva with a
degree in business. From 1964 to 1972, he worked in the chemical and
textile industries in Great Britain. Since 1972 he has worked in France,
first as Founder and CEO of Habitat France and, since 1981, as co-
Founder and co-Chairman of the GrandVision Group. The GrandVision Group
is a European leader in Optical retailing and Photo development
retailing with over 900 stores and 10, 000 associates in 15 countries
and sales of over FRF5 billion. Brands include GrandOptical, Vision
Express, La Generale d’Optique, Solaris, Photo Service, Photo Station.
