Martha K. Pomerantz

Martha K. Pomerantz is an investment principal at Lowry Hill. She joined the
firm in 1995 and currently manages approximately $325 million for 25 families.
She is co-Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee. She also is the author of
Investments: The View From Lowry Hill, the firm’s economic outlook newsletter,
and serves as a media spokesperson for the firm. Previously, she worked as a
securities analyst for Schroder Wertheim, a full-service brokerage firm in New
York, where she was responsible for covering the retail sector. She also worked
as a manager of financial planning and analysis for Centel Corporation, a
telecommunications firm in Chicago, where she focused on mergers and
acquisitions. She received a Master’s degree in Management from the J.L. Kellogg
School of Management in 1986. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from
Northwestern University in 1981. Her comments on investment strategy have
appeared in local and national media, including USA Today, The New York Times,
Worth, CNN Money, Financial Advisor, Chicago Tribune, St. Louis Post-Dispatch,
The Baltimore Sun, Boston Herald, St. Paul Pioneer Press, WCCO News Radio, KCCO
News Radio, and Bloomberg News. She was a participant in the 2005 and 2007
Minneapolis Star Tribune Investors Roundtable. In 2006, she received a “Top
Women in Finance” award from Finance and Commerce magazine. She has been on the
Board of Directors of the Children’s Theatre Company since 2005. She serves as
the Chair of its Investment Committee, a member of its Finance Committee and a
member of its Executive Committee.
