John Nicodemo

JOHN NICODEMO, Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance
and Corporate Secretary of Corby Distillers Limited, was
appointed Chief Financial Officer in 1998. Mr. Nicodemo has been
an integral part of a senior executive team that has led the
transformation of this 144-year-old company from a conservative,
acquisition-oriented enterprise to one that grows organically
through aggressive sales and marketing. Today, Corby, one of
Canada’s leaders in both spirits and imported wines, is in the
entertainment, lifestyle and fashion business, not just the
‘drinks’ business. The end result is that Corby’s portfolio of
owned and represented brands is the broadest and the best in
Canada. Of the top selling 25 brands in Canada, 10 are Corby’s,
as are 14 of the top 50. Mr. Nicodemo has over 15 years’
experience in the spirits and wine industry beginning with his
association with Allied Domecq in 1988. He holds a Chartered
Accountant designation with the Canadian Institute of Chartered
Accountants and a Master’s degree in Accountancy from the
University of Waterloo.
