Jeffrey E. Heil

JEFFREY E. HEIL is Director of Equity Investments at the University of
California, Office of the Treasurer in Oakland, California. His overall
portfolio responsibility includes security selection, strategy and the
investment process, as well as management of staff supporting in-house,
actively managed equity positions in three portfolios with $55 billion
in total assets. Prior to joining the University of California, Mr. Heil
was a Vice President of Equity Management for Key Asset Management in
Cleveland, Ohio and a Corporate Finance Consultant at McKinsey & Company
in Cleveland. In New York, he was an Investment Banker at Asset Growth
Partners, Manager of the Valuations Group at Arthur Andersen & Co. and a
Securities Analyst at Arnold Bernhard and Company. Mr. Heil earned a BA
in Government, summa cum laude, from Ohio University and was selected to
the Dean’s List and the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. At New York
University Graduate School of Business, he received an MBA in Finance
and was awarded the Marcus Nadler Fellowship. He also earned an Advanced
Professional Certificate in post-graduate study in the area of mergers
and acquisitions. Mr. Heil is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of
San Francisco Society of Security Analysts and Association for
Investment Management and Research (AIMR).
