James M. Hussey

JAMES M. HUSSEY is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of
NeoPharm, Inc., a biotechnology company specializing in the research,
development and marketing of cancer drugs. Mr. Hussey is a graduate of
Butler University College of Pharmacy and a licensed Pharmacist. He also
has a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of
Illinois. Following graduation from business school, Mr. Hussey began
his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in pharmaceutical sales and
marketing. Over a period of 11 years, he was promoted several times
through positions in marketing, sales and new business development
eventually becoming General Manager of the BMS Integrated Business Unit
in 1991. Mr. Hussey left BMS in 1994 to form his own company. In
December 1994, Mr. Hussey established Physicians Quality Care, a
physician equity model management services organization in Chicago,
Illinois. Over three years, PQC became the third largest physician
equity model management company in Chicago. In January 1998, Physicians
Quality Care was sold to a national physician management company.
Following the sale of his company, Mr. Hussey joined NeoPharm as Chief
Executive Officer, President and Director in March 1998.
