J. Patrick Ervin

J. PATRICK ‘PAT’ ERVIN is Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Hardinge Inc. He joined Hardinge in 1978. Mr. Ervin has held
various positions in the company within the sales and marketing,
engineering and manufacturing areas prior to becoming President and
Chief Executive Officer on May 1, 2001. He was named Chairman of the
Board effective January 1, 2002. Hardinge Inc. is a leading provider of
advanced material-cutting devices. Mr. Ervin holds a BS degree with a
concentration in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University and an MBA
degree from Syracuse University.
