J. Michael Barron

J. MICHAEL BARRON, CFA, is CEO, Portfolio Manager and a Principal with
Knott Capital Management. He has spent 12 successful years in the
investment industry. Before joining Knott Capital, he served as
Director of Real Estate Securities for INVESCO, overseeing the
management of more than $1 billion in client assets. Additionally, he
has served as the Vice President and a member of the investment
committee of a boutique investment advisory firm, and as an account
executive with Cigna. Mr. Barron has been frequently interviewed by the
Baltimore Sun, Bloomberg, Institutional Real Estate Securities and other
media sources. He earned his BS degree in Business Administration from
Villanova University and has completed executive study at MIT’s Sloan
School.
